My homeland is on the east coast of Australia, near the major city of Cairns. It is surrounded by tropical rainforest with fertile soil and many waterfalls. The location is on the Atherton Tablelands which has elevation, up higher than the coastal plain which is cooler in the summer months, but not cold either in winter due to its proximity to the coast. It enjoys a temperate climate. Nearby is a volcanic crater lake where we like to swim during the hotter months. Picture below!
