My vision for a godly wife

Qualities I cherish in my future wife
The three most important qualities I seek in my future wife are: Firstly, respect. A man needs unconditional respect as much as a woman needs unconditional love. Secondly, femininity. I need my wife to bring forth those things that only a woman can do. I'll look after all the hard stuff! Thirdly, to fight with me, not against me. We are in a war against Satan and his demons. Intimacy sometimes isn't enough; we have to back each other with love, forgiveness and spiritual warfare. If my wife does not initially understand this, it's okay, I'll lead her!
Our life together: ordinary and extraordinary moments
Oh, this is an easy question. I love my wife so deeply. She is my greatest treasure. I'll want to kiss her and caress her while she is cooking! I'll honor her in front of my friends and family. I won't pursue sexual intimacy at the expense of emotional intimacy but enjoy special moments with her day, and surprise her with things she will love. We should talk about the health of our marriage once a week and how we can improve, and go out on a date to different places every week too.
Deepening our spiritual connection
Beyond shared faith, a strong spiritual connection is vital. This can be experienced at a deep level through meditation on God's Holy Covenant in Ephesians 5:22-33. It's something we must regularly do, praying it through and walking it out together. This shared spiritual warfare and intimacy will be the foundation of our lasting love.
